An earthquake of a magnitude of 4.1 hit the Bankura district of West Bengal today morning. The tremors were felt in the district at around 10:39 am. The epicenter of the tremor was 15 km below the surface of Earth at latitude 23.5 degrees north and longitude 87.1 degrees east.
