Kharibari, 29th September: 30 families left other parties and joined Bharatiya Janata Party at the Bhajanpur village of Raniganj-Binnabari Mandal under the Kharibari block. BJP National Council member Ganesh Chandra Debnath welcomed the newcomers by handing over the party flag to them.
Ganesh Chandra Debnath stated that about 30 families from booths 45 and 46 of Binnabari joined BJP. President of Raniganj-Binnabari Mandal Bholanath Siddha, General Secretary Bhabesh Roy, Santosh Roy, Nantu Mandal, and other leaders and workers were present during the programme.
