Rajganj, 26th July: Sensation prevailed after the body of a youth was found hanging from a noose, on Monday. The incident surfaced from the Sitaguri village in Rajganj block. The deceased has been identified as Partho Talukder (27).
According to local sources, the deceased used to work at a petrol pump in the area. The family members immediately informed the police after sighting his body hanging from a noose this morning.
Upon receiving the news, the Ambari outpost police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
Chanchal Talukder, the elder brother of the deceased, said that Partho got married a few months ago. He might have committed suicide out of mental depression.
