215 students of Siliguri Hindi High School fail Madhyamik exams, protest staged outside school

Siliguri, 04th June: The result of the Madhyamik examination was announced on Friday. Almost 86.60% of candidates have passed this year. In which, the students of Siliguri have performed excellently. Meanwhile, the students of Siliguri Hindi High School for Girls protested fiercely in front of the school gate on Saturday.
Around 327 girl students from the said school gave the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) examination this year. Out of them, 215 girl students failed and only 112 passed. On Saturday, the girls gathered in front of the school gate and protested. They directly accused the school management of not conducting online classes during the lockdown. And when the examination was approaching, the pressure of studies on them was increased by the school management. 
The students further warned of staging larger demonstrations if action is not taken on this matter at the earliest. Meanwhile, the school management refused to comment on the subject.
