Rajganj, 15 December: The 170th birth anniversary of Maa Sharda Devi was observed in Sahudangi Sri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Ashram. A large number of devotees from different places reached since this morning. Mangal Aarti, Veda recitation, Bhajan, Yoga, Matri Sangeet, Kirtan were organized on the occasion. After this Prasad were also distributed among the devotees.
Swami Nareshanand Ji Maharaj said that today marks the birth anniversary of Maa Sharda and is celebrated at various places as well as at Sahudangi Ramakrishna Mission. Special puja and yagya will be performed for Maa Sharda where devotees will receive prasad. Later, the birth anniversary program of Maa Sharda will be concluded through evening aarti and bhajan-kirtan.
