Alipurduar, 05th February: Sensation prevailed after a 14-foot long python was rescued from the Rabindranagar area of Madarihat under Alipurduar district.
According to sources, the locals sighted the python on Wednesday afternoon and informed the forest department. Upon receiving the news, the forest workers of the Madarihat range reached the spot and rescued the animal.
Reportedly, the python will be released into the Jaldapara woods.
