Rajganj, 03rd June: The 136th Tirodhan Divas of Baba Loknath Brahmachari was observed with devotion and religious fervour at various locations across Rajganj Block on Wednesday.
Special prayers and rituals began from the morning at the Akarigachh Banabhasa Adi Loknath Mandir and the Akarigachh Loknath Mission, where large numbers of devotees gathered to offer prayers.
Devotees from different areas visited the temples throughout the day to participate in the celebrations and seek blessings.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhavatosh Dutta said that various programmes had been organised over the past three days to mark the occasion, with Tuesday being the main day of the festival. He also stated that the annual puja at the temple has entered its 44th year.
