Siliguri, 22nd April: In a significant political shift, 12 lawyers of the Siliguri Bar Association left the Congress Legal Cell, other political parties, and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Reportedly, on Monday, a program was organized at BJP District Office located in Mallaguri where Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, BJP Siliguri District Sabhapati Arun Mandal welcomed the lawyers by handing over them the party flag. During this, 12 lawyers including Roshan Jha, Prabhat Jha, Rahul Kumar Jha from the Congress Legal Cell joined the BJP.
