12 foot long python recovered from a chicken coop in Dhupguri

Dhupguri, 13th July: Sensation prevailed after a 12-foot-long python tangled itself in the net while trying to pounce on a chicken coop in the Bagribari area, Dhupguri.


According to local sources, a nylon net attached to the bamboo fence of a chicken coop had been installed to protect the chickens. However, in an attempt to raid the coop, the snake accidentally caught itself in the net.

The incident was then reported to the members of the Doors Nature and Snake Lovers Organization. They reached the spot and rescued the reptile. The python was later handed over to the Binnaguri Wildlife Squad.
