11 feet long python rescued from Rajganj’s tea garden

Rajganj, 09th February: An 11-feet long python was rescued from a tea garden in Bakhoabadi area adjacent to Bandhunagar under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj. 


According to local sources, on Thursday morning when the local labourers came to work in the garden, they spotted the python. After which they informed the Forest Department. As soon as the news was received, the forest personnel of Ambari range of Baikunthpur division reached the spot and rescued the python. 

The Ambari range ranger Sudipta Sarkar said that locals spotted the python and reported it. The python is about 11 feet long and will be released in the Baikunthpur forest.
