Alipurduar, 04th July: The Yuva Trinamool Congress of Jateshwar 1 and 2 staged a protest on Sunday against petrol price hike.
It has been learned that the protest was initially staged at the Jateshwar petrol pump in Falakata block. Following which, the members of the Yuva Trinamool Congress staged a rally and reached Jateshwar bus stand, and burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Falakata Block Yuva Trinamool President Shubhabrata Dey, Yuva Trinamool District General Secretary Devjit Pal, and many others were present at the programme.
