Kharibari, 25th February: A horrifying mishap surfaced from the Chakkarmari State Road of Kharibari where an individual suffered significant injuries in a road accident. The injured youth has been identified as Raju Majumdar, a resident of the Chakkarmari area.
According to reports, on Sunday, a passenger-laden bus travelling from Debiganj to Siliguri lost control and hit the youth. Later, the locals rescued the youth and rushed him to the Kharibari Rural Hospital for treatment. The locals alleged that the buses normally travelled at a high speed leading to frequent accidents in the area.
Upon receiving the news, the cops of the Kharibari police station arrived at the spot and took charge of the situation. The bus was taken into custody and the incident is under further investigation.
