Siliguri, 06th May: Sensation spread in the Bansjhar More area of Ward No. 40 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation after the body of a youth was recovered from a house. The deceased has been identified as Rahul Chhetri, a resident of Sikkim.
According to local sources, Rahul had been staying in the rented house for the past few months and was undergoing training at a nursing institute.
On Tuesday night, the house owner found him hanging inside the room and immediately informed Bhakti Nagar Police Station.
Police, along with central forces, rushed to the spot and recovered the body, which was later sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
