Alipurduar, 17th November: Sensation arose on the Madarihat Asian Highway when a tragic road accident claimed a life of a youth. The deceased has been identified as Biswajit Roy (30).
Reportedly, on Wednesday night Biswajit was heading from Madhya Rangalibazna to Birpara when he met with a road accident. Cops of Madarihat police station rescued him in a blood-soaked condition around 11 pm and rushed him to Madarihat Primary Health Center, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Gaurav Hasda, OC of Madarihat police station, said that the body was sent to Alipurduar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
