Siliguri, 11th February: A youth was caught red-handed in Siliguri District Hospital molesting a girl. The incident created a stir in the entire area.
On Friday morning, a young woman from the Prakash Nagar area arrived at the hospital to see a doctor. Allegedly, at that time, a youth named Hiralal Mandal molested her on the staircase of the outdoor building.
When the woman shouted for help, people came to her rescue and caught the youth red-handed. He was taken to the police camp of the hospital. The matter was later reported at the Siliguri police station. The police detained the youth and took him to the police station. After the incident, people raised questions regarding the security inside the hospital premises.
