Kharibari, 08th August: The Panitanki PP police under Kharibari police station arrested a youth with brown sugar in Kharibari. The arrested accused has been identified as Haldhan Barman (25).
It has been learned that the Panitanki PP police, acting on a tip-off, launched operations at Goursing Jote in Kharibari and arrested Barman. Around 500 grams of brown sugar, Rs 1.38 lakh cash and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession.
A case has been filed against him under the NDPS Act and he has been sent to Siliguri court today.
