Cooch Behar, 05th August: A youth, identified as Anarul Mian (21), has been arrested for raping a 6-year-old girl. The horrifying incident surfaced from the Hospital Para area of the Shitalkuchi block.
According to the mother of the child, Anarul Mian committed the crime when no one was at home. When she came home after a while, she found her daughter lying in a severely injured condition. Following this, she immediately rushed the child to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the locals nabbed the accused and informed the police. The Shitalkuchi police reached the spot, arrested the accused, and took him to the police station. He will be produced at the court on today.
