Siliguri, 17th November: Siliguri Municipality Corporation’s Ward No. 43 Co-ordinator Ragini Singh has been accused of mistreating a resident of the locality. Following the incident, the agitated youth staged a sit-in protest in front of the Co-ordinator’s office.
Reportedly, Vivek Singh, a resident of Ward No. 43, reached Ward Coordinator Singh’s office, this morning, concerning various problems of the ward.
While Vivek briefed the Co-ordinator on the problems concerning their ward, Singh allegedly was infuriated and misbehaved with him. Strongly condemning the incident, Vivek staged a dharna outside the Co-ordinator’s office.
On the other hand, Ward Co-ordinator Ragini Singh denied all allegations and claimed that she calmly explained the youth that as she currently is the ward’s Coordinator, it was not in her hands to take any permanent step as of now.
