Cooch Behar, 30th June: The water level in the rivers of Cooch Behar district has risen due to continuous rainfall in the last few days. The district administration has already issued a yellow alert on Mansai River in Mathabhanga and Teesta River in Mekhliganj.
It is to be noted that the meteorological department has forecasted heavy to very heavy rains across North Bengal in the next few days.
