Siliguri, 14th June: On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day as well as Padma Shri Karimul Haque’s birthday, a blood donation camp was organized today on behalf of the Siliguri Unique Social Welfare Society.
As per the information, the camp was held near the Bura Buri temple in the Eastern Bypass area in presence of Karimul Haque. The Siliguri Students’ Federation of India and the Siliguri Voluntary Blood Donors Forum jointly extended their helping hand towards the initiative.
Plant saplings were also handed over to all the blood donors today. Besides, it has been learned that the camp premises was disinfected before the commencement of the programme.
