Kalchini, 16th August: Sensation prevailed in the area of Nimti Domohani in Kalchini when a labourer’s body was found hanging from a noose. The deceased has been identified as Sujit Oraon (29).
Reportedly, his family members found his body and immediately rushed him to Latabari Rural Hospital in Kalchini, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, after receiving the news of the incident Kalchini police reached the spot and took the body in their possession and sent it to Alipurduar District Hospital for post-mortem. The police started investigating the entire matter.
