Kalchini, 22nd March: A tea worker was injured in a bison attack at Dima tea garden in Kalchini block.
It has been learned that a bison entered the tea garden on Tuesday morning. A worker named Basanta Teli was injured. He was rescued and taken to Latabari Rural Hospital where he was shifted to Alipurduar District Hospital.
The forest workers of the Buxa Tiger Reserve reached the spot after receiving the news and have initiated rescue work.
