Fulbari, 04th April: Sensation prevailed after a lorry loaded with wheat went rampant and overturned in the middle of the road near Fulbari.
Reportedly, while on its way from Siliguri to Jalpaiguri on Tuesday morning, the said wheat-laden lorry went rampant and overturned in the middle of the road in the Jiaganj area of Fulbari. The traffic came to a standstill for a long time. However no casualty has been reported in the said incident, but the driver of the lorry sustained minor injuries.
On the other hand, soon after getting information about the incident, NJP Police and Fulbari Highway Traffic Police reached the spot and recovered the lorry. Soon after, the traffic resumed. The police started investigating the whole matter.
