Siliguri, 11th December: A TET examinee faced a big disappointment after she failed to appear in the examination today as she could not reach the examination centre in time due to road jam.
The candidate, Dolly Sarkar, a resident of Ghoshpukur of Siliguri left around 10:30 in the morning on a scooty to appear for the said examination which was held at Siliguri Boys High School. But, despite trying to reach on time, she was stuck in traffic near Darjeeling More which delayed her more than an hour and was barred from entering the premises of the centre.
It is to be noted that the candidates had to reach before an hour before exam which was 11 AM or no candidate would be allowed after the given time. Thus, she failed to appear for her exams despite preparing for it.
