Siliguri, 08th July: Ward No. 3 Trinamool Congress staged a protest in front of the Gurung Basty Party office against the center’s anti-people policy as well as the hike in the price of petroleum and diesel.
Ward No. 3 TMC President Santosh Saha and other party members were present during the demonstration programme.
According to the information, the TMC has called for a statewide protest against the skyrocketing price of petroleum products including privatization of railways. The party commenced their protest against the policies of the central government from July 6 and will continue till July 13.
