Siliguri, 07th January: Ward festival ‘Geet Anjali’ commenced in Ward No. 11 of Siliguri, on Saturday, through a grand procession. The rally was taken out in front of the Ward’s Mitra Sammelan Hall and circumambulated various routes of the ward.
On the occassion, Ward Councilor Manjushree Paul, former Councilor Nantu Paul, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh and Opposition leader of Municipal Corporation Amit Jain were present. Reportedly, the ward festival will continue till January 22. Apart from this, many programs will also be organized.
