Siliguri, 23rd April: With the alarming spread of COVID-19 in the city, people are being asked to wear mouth masks time and again. Despite this, most people seem to not follow the guidelines and stay ignorant. To get their message straight across such people, members of a voluntary organization launched a unique and quite ridiculing campaign.
Reportedly, a voluntary organization in a joint venture with the Bidhan Market Vyavasahi Samiti spread awareness regarding the fatal COVID-19 infection among the people in the market. A member of the organization in a PPE kit was spotted touching the feet of the people without a mask, praying to them to wear one in order to prevent community transmission.
With folded hands, members of the said organization requested the people at the market to wear masks before leaving the house.
