Alipurduar, 31st January: Sensation prevailed after the body of an unidentified person was recovered from the riverbank of Hedayat Nagar village area under the Falakata block on Friday.
According to sources, the locals sighted the body around 7 am and informed the police. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to the Alipurduar Hospital for an autopsy. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
