Alipurduar, 25th September: Sensation prevailed in the area after an unidentified body was found in the Pashchim Jitpur adjacent to Alipurduar Junction.
According to reports, for several days, a foul smell was coming from the said area. On Monday, the residents of the area spotted the dead body of an individual. Following this, the matter was promptly informed to the Alipurduar Junction Police Outpost.
Upon receiving the news, the police of Junction Outpost and Alipurduar police station arrived at the spot and recovered the body of the deceased. However, at the time of the report, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. Currently, police are engaged in detailed investigation of the incident.
