Siliguri, 13th October: Sensation prevailed when four firearms were recovered from inside two unclaimed bags near Siliguri Junction Traffic Guard.
Reportedly, two unattended bags were placed in front of the Siliguri Junction traffic guard which was noticed by shopkeepers in the area. The shopkeepers grew suspicious and informed the Junction traffic guard. After which the Pradhan Nagar police station was alerted.
On receiving the information, the Pradhan Nagar police reached the spot and searched the two unclaimed bags. During the search, four firearms were recovered from both the said bags. The police are investigating the incident and the owner of the bags.
