Fulbari, 22nd June: Two young men lost their lives in a tragic road accident near the Fulbari Barrage area while on their way to work.
The deceased have been identified as Mintu Shil and Krishna Haldar, residents of Kashiram area near Liusipakuri under the Phansidewa subdivision. Both were employed at a factory in the Fulbari area.
According to local sources, the two friends had left home on a scooty for work as usual in the morning. Shortly after setting out, a tragic accident occurred on the national highway. Their scooter reportedly collided with a vehicle near the Fulbari Barrage area, causing both of them to be thrown onto the road.
The two youths died on the spot. Upon receiving information, police from Phansidewa Police Station reached the scene, recovered the bodies and started an investigation into the incident.
The tragic deaths of the two youths have cast a pall of gloom over the area, with family members left devastated by the loss.
