Fulbari, 18th June: An incident of mishap surfaced from Fulbari on Saturday night in which two trucks collided head-on. The incident left both drivers injured. The injured have been identified as Sunil Saha and Vinod Singh.
According to reports, one of the trucks was on its way towards Jalpaiguri from Siliguri late at night when it collided with another truck coming from the opposite direction in the Jiaganj area of Fulbari. Following the incident, both drivers were trapped inside the trucks due to the impact. Upon receiving the news, New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police and Fulbari Traffic Outpost police reached the spot and rescued both the injured and sent them to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Meanwhile, police are engaged in investigating the entire matter.
