Alipurduar, 01 December: An incident of road accident surfaced from the Samuktala Road area on the National Highway (NH-31) in Alipurduar where two individuals were injured.
According to reports, a small four-wheeler was on its way to Alipurduar from Barobisha when it collided with a tractor crossing the NH in the said area. Consequently, the car overturned on the road leading to the injury of the two occupants.
After the accident, the injured were rescued and sent to Alipurduar District Hospital. Meanwhile, the Samuktala police took both the vehicles into custody and initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
