Cooch Behar, 07th November: Tension arose in the area of Takagachh Karisal after two teenagers got washed away while taking bath in the Torsa River.
According to locals, four people had gone to take bath in the Torsa River today. The teenagers have been identified as Sonali Das (12) and Ritika Das (13) who got washed away by the strong currents of the river.
After the incident, the locals got down into the river and searched but no trace was found. On receiving the news of the incident, Pundibari Police, Civil Defense and divers reached the spot. The team are still searching for the two teens.
