Kalchini, 26th July: Two individuals lost their lives in a road accident on the National Highway (NH 31) in the Kalchini block, while another individual sustained severe injuries. The deceased have been identified as Putul Pal and Manoj Adhikari.
As per reports, on Wednesday morning, a poultry-laden van en route to Barobisha suddenly lost control and crashed into a roadside tree. As a result, the vehicle was severely damaged and the vehicle owner and driver died on the spot. Meanwhile, another passenger in the vehicle, identified as Vikram Ghosh, sustained critical injuries. Subsequently, the Kalchini police personnel recovered both bodies and initiated a detailed investigation into the incident.
