Nagrakata, 22nd August: Nagrakata police arrested two people with illegal liquor, on Saturday. Also, a truck has been seized in this incident.
The accused have been identified as Sana Singh and Leela Gagai. Both are said to be the residents of Assam.
As per the report, a truck was detained by the police during a Naka checking at Bhanu More in Nagrakata, this morning. Upon searching the vehicle, the police recovered 105 cartons of illicit liquor.
OC Sanju Barman of Nagrakata police station said that a total of 105 cartons of liquor have been recovered during the operation. The said liquor was being smuggled from Assam to Bihar.
