Jalpaiguri, 01st May: Kotwali police arrested two youth with brown sugar from Jalpaiguri. The arrested have been identified as Hakaru Paswan and Manjal Mandal.
According to police sources, for a long period, both accused were in the business of selling brown sugar in Station Para, Dinbazar and various other areas.
The Kotwali police based on a tip-off nabbed the duo in the Dinbazar area, while they had gathered to sell the drugs. 100 grams of brown sugar were recovered from their possession.
Both the youths were produced in Siliguri court today. The police are investigating the entire incident.
