Siliguri, 29th June: The results of panchayat samiti was announced today where Trinamool won 55 seats out of 66 seats, while Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 09 seats and other parties won 02 seats.
The Trinamool Congress won 17 out of 18 seats in Naxalbari, 09 out of 12 seats in Kharibari, 12 out of 15 seats in Matigara, and 17 out of 21 seats in Phansidewa. Meanwhile, BJP won 01 seat in Naxalbari, 03 seats in Kharibari, 03 seats in Matigara and 02 seats in Phansidewa.
