Trinamool activists stage protest surrounding BJP candidate Shankar Ghosh and MP Raju Bista

Siliguri, 17th April: The Trinamool activists staged a protest at the Margaret School polling station surrounding Siliguri assembly BJP candidate Shankar Ghosh and Darjeeling MP Raju Bista.

The TMC activists alleged that traffic congestion was created for these two BJP leaders. As a result, voters had difficulty in casting their votes. After the incident, the central forces and the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

In this regard, Raju Bista said that the Trinamool leaders are behaving in this way fearing losing the elections. He also urged all to cast their votes.

Shankar Ghosh said that it is not good for the Trinamool leaders to get so angry. ‘They must eat fruits in this hot weather.’, he stated.
