Siliguri, 13th February: A Trauma Care Center was opened at the North Bengal Medical College-Hospital without a Computed Tomography scan machine. Ashok Bhattacharya had laid the foundation stone of the Trauma Care Center in 2010.
In this context, Hospital Superintendent Dr Kaushik Samajdar informed that a Super Speciality Hospital is being constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. So, they would like to install the CT scan machine, which has been allotted for the Super Speciality Hospital, at the Trauma Care Center.
