Rajganj, 16th October: Tractor overturned in a roadside reservoir this morning in the Mantadari area of Belakoba-Gatebazar road under Rajganj where the driver lost his life.
The deceased has been identified as Bharani Roy. Reportedly, this morning Bharani Roy was heading towards the Mantadari area in the said tractor. The said tractor overturned after losing control into a reservoir while giving some space to other vehicles coming from the opposite direction. Due to this, the driver died on the spot.
Locals alleged that such accidents have become prone in the area because of the narrow roads making it difficult for big vehicles to ply on it. Despite the demand for broadening the width of the road for a long time, no measures are being taken to widen the road.
On the other hand, on receiving the news of the incident, the police of the Belakoba outpost reached the spot and started investigating the whole matter.
