Alipurduar, 27th September: On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Dooars Tourism Development Welfare Society initiated a grand welcome for the tourists in Jaldapara. On Wednesday morning, the tourists who arrived for the jungle and elephant safari were offered flowers, sweets, and food at the main gate of Jaldapara National Park.
In this regard, Dooars Tourism Development Welfare Society Joint Secretary Sanjay Das stated that the initiative intends to improve the relationship between tourists and the individuals engaged in the tourism sector. He added that they have urged the forest department to reduce the increased safari charges. Tourists were seen elated by the initiative of the Dooars Tourism Development Welfare Society in Jaldapara.
