Siliguri, 29th January: The honesty of a toto (e- rickshaw) driver Ratan Sutradhar shone through as he returned a bag containing important documents to its rightful owner. Ratan is a resident of Siliguri’s Santipara.
Last week, Shubham Gautam from Madarihat, boarded Ratan’s toto and got off leaving behind the bag. Unable to find the bag, Shubham Gautam later lodged a complaint at the Madarihat police station. The bag contained his passport, voter card, Aadhar card and other important medical documents.
Meanwhile, Ratan Sutradhar reported the matter to the NJP police, who later informed the owner of the bag. After receiving the bag, Shubham Gautam thanked and appreciated Ratan’s honesty.
