Siliguri, 27th June: Continuing their protest against BJP MLA Shikha Chatterjee for allegedly making provocative remarks and raising the issue of a separate state of North Bengal, Ward No. 32 Trinamool Youth Congress took out a protest rally in front of the party office at Tinbatti More.
This rally circled all the wards and reached Ashok Nagar More, where the effigy of the MLA was burnt. Sayan Mitra, Co-President of Town No. 03 Block, TMYC Ward No. 32 President Sourav Nath, Ward President Ajay Das, former councillor Prakash Chandra Das, Sameer Nandi and members of the TMYC were actively present during the protest.
