Siliguri, 14th April: Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Gopal Lama from the Darjeeling Lok Sabha Constituency conducted election campaigns after offering prayers at the Anandamoyee Kalibari in Siliguri.
As per details received, candidate Gopal Lama accompanied by Darjeeling district TMC President Papiya Ghosh and other leaders of the party offered prayers at the temple before the election campaign on the occasion of Bengali New Year.
Reportedly, Lama campaigned in various areas including Sukna adjacent to Siliguri. During this, he appealed to the general public for their votes and support. Additionally, he participated in the Nepali New Year program amid the campaign.
