TMC takes out a protest march in Siliguri against the division of Bengal 

Siliguri, 21st November: TMC organized a massive protest march in Siliguri today, alleging the BJP plotting to divide Bengal and also against the surge in prices of petroleum products. The rally commenced from Mallaguri in Siliguri and ended at Hashmi Chowk. TMC workers and supporters from Darjeeling, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, and Jalpaiguri districts participated in the said protest. 


North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha, State Youth Trinamool Congress leader Saayoni Ghosh, TMC youth leader Debangshu Bhattacharya, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, Darjeeling district leader Papiya Ghosh, SJDA chairman Saurabh Chakraborty and other TMC presidents from four districts led the protest march. 

After the completion of the rally, a road meeting was organized at Hashmi Chowk. During this, Debangshu Bhattacharya said that there will be no such separation of Bengal. In addition to this, Saayoni Ghosh took a jibe at the BJP and said that no such partition is ever possible no matter how much the BJP will raise the issue on it. Targeting the Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, she said that first he harmed the TMC party and now he is damaging the opposition BJP.
