Siliguri, 11th March: The Trinamool Congress is protesting across the entire state against the alleged attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram. Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress Committee burnt tires and staged a protest in Ward no-3 near Siliguri Junction traffic point today.
In view of this, Ward no-3 TMC leader Santosh Sha highly condemned the Nandigram incident and stated it to be a conspiracy by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He stated that Banerjee is currently undergoing treatment at SSKM Hospital in Kolkata and wished for her speedy recovery.
It is noteworthy that on Wednesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited Nandigram to submit the nomination papers, during which, she was allegedly attacked and in the course, sustained severe leg injuries.
