Siliguri, 07th July: Trinamool Congress Labor leader Prasenjit Roy has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and reportedly showed no symptoms. He has been admitted in a private nursing home in Matigara.
Earlier today, Roy actively took part in a demonstration staged by the Indian National Trinamool Trade Union Congress (INTTUC) NJP Local Committee at NJP. As the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb and other leaders of the party were also present during the protest, Roy testing positive for the virus has raised some serious concerns.
