Siliguri, 25th January: Tight security arrangements have been made in Siliguri in view of Republic Day. Search operations are being conducted in Siliguri malls, bus stations, NJP, Siliguri stations, and markets.
The Government Railway Police’s Dog Squad conducted a search operation at the NJP station, today. Meanwhile, Naka checking has been implemented on all the important roads of Siliguri. According to the information received from the Siliguri Metropolitan Police sources, the Police are keeping a close watch on the vehicles entering the city.
