Siliguri, 20th March: A three-day exhibition has been organized under the aegis of Dashbhuja Group to make women self-reliant.
After a nationwide lockdown was imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people lost their jobs. Considering this, the said exhibition is being held to empower women entrepreneurs to sell their handmade goods.
According to Dashbhuja Group member Sushmita Biswas, 64 stalls have been set up in the exhibition where various items including sarees, jewellery, food have been displayed. Women from Matigara, Shiv Mandir, and other parts of the city have participated in the exhibition which will conclude on March 21.
